Chocolate Microwave Cake
- 1 Large Egg (separated)
- 10g (2 Tsp) Butter
- 40g (4 Tbsp) Dark Chocolate
- 30g (3 Tbsp) Granulated Sugar
- 30g (4 Tbsp) All-purpose Flour
- 1ml (1/4 Tsp) Vanilla
- 1g (1/4 Tsp) Baking Powder
- Melt butter and dark chocolate in a microwave for 30 seconds and stir until smooth.
- Whip egg white in a bowl to soft peaks and gradually add in the sugar.
- Add vanilla, egg yolk, melted butter and chocolate to egg white mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- Stir in flour and baking powder until just combined and batter is smooth.
- Pour into a greased mug and cook in microwave for 70 to 80 seconds. (Times may vary depending on your microwave.)
- Cake is done when springy to touch or when a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
