Mayonnaise
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 5ml (1tsp) Mustard
- 10ml (2tsp) Vinegar (anything except white vinegar)
- 200ml (3/4c) Oil (Canola or a neutral oil)
Instructions
- Whisk together yolk, mustard and vinegar.
- While whisking, gradually add the oil until an emulsion forms. You can add oil faster as it gets thicker.
- Season and add desired flavouring. (garlic, hot sauce, fresh herbs etc.) Note: (If sauce gets too thick add 5ml(1tsp) at a time to thin. If too thin add up too 30ml (2Tbsp) of more oil)
