Sweet Pie Dough

Ingredients                  Yield: Enough for 1 9-inch pie
  • 300g (2c)                  All-purpose Flour
  • 200g (3/4c)              Butter
  • 100ml (1/3c +1tbsp) Milk
  • 20g (2Tbsp)              Sugar
                Instructions
  1.  You can mix the ingredients together either by hand or using a food processor.
  2. Throw your dry ingredients in together, add the cold butter. Pulse until combined and the butter has become pea sized chunks.
  3. Add your wet ingredients to the dry. Pulse until combined. You want the dough to be crumbly but hold together when you squeeze it in your hand.
  4. Place the crumbly dough mixture on a clean surface, and push it all together until it forms a ball. once the ball is formed knead the dough four times to ensure the dough stays together.
  5. Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for an hour.
  6. When you are ready to bake, roll out the dough about 2-3 mm thick. Press into a pie dish. Poke some holes in the bottom with a fork, then bake for 10-15 minutes in a 400 degree (F) oven.
